Catherine is a Biologist and Forest Engineer whose primary area of research is related to the dynamics of tropical ecosystems, climate change, and the potential of remote sensing data for environmental analysis. Her main study area has been the tropical forests of the Brazilian Amazon and Atlantic Forest biome.
