Elâine is an Ecologist and her main subject of research are plant assemblages of Tropical Dry Forests, especially from the Brazilian Caatinga. During my career I have been focused in understanding the drivers of changes (e.g. human disturbances and environmental variables) of plant species assembly and diversity at the Brazilian Caatinga.
She is interested in transforming ecological knowledge produced in friendly/accessible content in order to contribute to scientific/environmental education and conservation.
