Jeff is a field biologist whose primary area of research is forest restoration and conservation biology in the tropics. For the last two decades his primary field site has been the tropical dry forest of the Area de Conservación Guanacaste (ACG) NW Costa Rica. He is also a founder and officer of InvestigadoresACG, a non-profit organization that promotes teaching and research within the ACG.
