I am a broadly trained ecologist working to incorporate evidence-based teaching methods to create rigorous, inclusive, and effective classrooms. I design biology curricula using learner-centered approaches and strive to cultivate a learning environment that is accessible to a wide range of skills and abilities. A critical goal of my teaching and curriculum development is to promote and retain diverse students in the field of science. I am passionate about engaging students in meaningful learning experiences in the hopes that they will come to love science as much as I do!
