Mary specializes in plant biology with focus on evolutionary plant ecology, bryophyte ecology, and pollination. While her experiences are largely focused on the vegetation of the Allegheny Plateau of northern Pennsylvania, she is a proud graduate of a 1992 Organization for Tropical Studies course. Mary currently teaches lectures and labs in introductory biology, nonmajors biology, and field botany.
