I am a Ph.D. student at the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luis de Queiroz" - Universidade de São Paulo, at the Forest Resources department. My research focuses on studying the natural regeneration inside the tropical forest restoration plantings, specifically in Stational Semidecidual Forests in São Paulo - Brazil. I'm aiming to understand if the restoration projects are practical in terms of species composition for their future, and that involves analyzing the planted species composition, planting age, and landscape metrics.
