Handziko is lecturer on biology education departement in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His major is in instructional media for biology and his minor is in ecology. His research focuses on developing more effective instructional videos containing wild biology phenomena to help students learn biology in a class of ecology connected with experiential learning and literacy competence.
Moreover, he is also interested in mangrove and reef ecosystems connected with ocean literacy and climate change literacy. To study the ocean further, he obtained a diving license from Scuba School International.
