Michelle is an Assistant Professor of Biology teaching Introductory Biology courses for majors and non-majors at Hawaiʻi Community College in Hilo, HI. She also co-teaches for the Ethnomathematics Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa, and runs an annual study abroad course in Belize focused on environmental issues in tropical Ecosystems
